Listing Upwork experience on LinkedIn and other resumes

I'm looking for some tips from other freelancers about how you list your Upwork experience on LinkedIn and other resumes outside of the Upwork platform. I'm especially looking for tips on how you describe the work if you have had a variety of contracts and types of work rather than one or two long-term clients in the same field? 

Do you just give a general overview, like "providing freelance services for customer service and research related requests" for example? Do you mention the Upwork platform at all in the description to provide some legitimacy (not as the employer but to mention the platform you use)? I would love to highlight the work that I do but wanted to look for tips from people who can share best practices and what has worked for you.
