Hello, my name is George. I'm from Belarus. I'd like to find the mentor. I have 2 years expirience in editing (background removal, retouch and others). I can't statr to work independent because i don't have feedbacks and it's difficult for me.

i can see some of my works in my portfolio - agram.com/suneman_thefirst/?hl=ru
i'l glad any proposals. Good day everyone Smiley Happy

Egor:

Everybody in the Community Forum is your mentor.

If you have a specific question that has not already been addressed in the Forum, then feel free to ask it here.

Otherwise, you will want to thoroughly read this:

Egor,

Preston is correct, the Forum opens the door for a million mentors.

You joined today. I haven't looked at your profile, but that is the place for your portfolio. Be careful about your rate. I hire on Upwork and another board, and if the rate is very low I skip the profile. If you don't thik you're worth very much, I will not argue.

Do not offer a low price in hopes of getting better-paying work later from the same client. If anything, the client will ask for a discount because he assumes that low price was your standard rate.

Talk about what benefit the client will receive from your work. "I can retouch blah blah blah" means little. "I can make your images come to life" or "I will turn your less-than-perfect photos into compelling images."

Egor,

By "mentor", did you mean agency perhaps? Here are 2 articles about agencies:

https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us/articles/211062598-About-Agencies

https://support.upwork.com/hc/en-us/articles/211062608

However, you have to be invited to join an agency.
