Raimonds, the description of issue you provided, is slightly unclear for me. Main question is: did you have an active contract with client when you were performing the job? If client closed contract at first place and then offered you to continue with work, without signing you up on new contract, then i can only assume you worked for nothing.

It looks to me as well like you may have communicated about the job but he didn't actually accept you and draw up a contract. Go back to the job description page and it will tell you who was hired. Are you there? Also, look on your own "my jobs" page - is the job there? if not to either, then looks like you worked without a contract in place. Live and learn from it...
