I am not receiving Upwork emails from a current client. This makes the client think I am not being responsive because I do not know they have sent a message. I have tried clearing my browser history but that does not help. I do receive Upwork emails about new job opportunities.

Yes, it is a bug that they've been aware of for awhile not but still have not fixed. They keep telling us how to fix it on our end when clearly it's on theirs.

It happens from time to time.
Lots of us don't count on receiving emails from Upwork.
Check messages within the web applications regularly, or use a different communication tool with your clients, such as regular email.

Yes but that doesn't work if they haven;t hired you yet. I often go back and forth a couple of time with clients before they set up a contract. It's working for me now after I got in touch with support, but I did lose a couple of jobs because of my slow responses.
