One attachment per job proposal? Really?

As a freelance writer I tailor my proposals by including a representative selection of 3 or more of my previous  pieces. Upwork proposals accomodate only one attachment. I imagine the same would hold true for other types of work, as well. How are freelancers getting around this?

Thanks.

Hi Tracy.

Yes frustrating.

Try this.

1. Make a folder

2. Add files.

3. Compress folder.

4. Send as a zip file.

Hope this helps.

Not a bad suggestion at all, Stephen.

I'd like to add that if and when I do this personally, I put my my name into the folder name. Such as: PandoraH-Files or somesuch, so the final zip has your 'name on' it. And, when they unzip it, the folder has your name in it's title.

I also add a .txt file into the folder, which is called what-these-files-are.txt. This text file explains what each of the other files are.

I also mention, after my final salutation in the cover letter, then I have added a file attachment.

Hi Tracey,

You may upload your samples to Dropbox or Google Drive, and then share links in the cover letter. This way, you may share as many samples as you want.
