Payment from Client

I got in touch with a client on Upwork. The profile is verified, even the payment method. The client even spent around 1000$ on Upwork and 100% hire rate. But the client is saying that there is some issue at his end and Upwork isn't letting him pay. What's the possible option in that case. Please help!
