I apologize if this has already been addressed, but I couldn't find an answer.
Here's my situation: I'm concerned about how Upwork's algorithms work, as they are not always accurate:
- I have a long-term client (Milestone No. 11 Smiley LOL), and I work on her eBay store.
- I am interested in purchasing items from her store for my personal use (not work-related).
- I, as a freelancer, would like to make the payment to her, the client, using PayPal and directly through eBay (I already have an account there) because it's not free.
- However, I don't want Upwork's algorithms to misconstrue my intentions when we start discussing this in the Upwork chat. How can I prevent this misunderstanding?
- All of our communications occur exclusively on Upwork, and I wish to keep it that way.
Please provide guidance.
