Hi all!
I recently finished a round of arbitration with a former client here on Upwork (which I won, whew!). My former client is demanding escalation, claiming foul play, claiming Upwork is a scam elsewhere in the Community, etc. etc. Their newest grievance is that the AAA arbiter did not provide any reasoning in the decision/award letter. Personally, I expected the arbiter to post their reasoning as well. So, I want to know how typical that is.
For those of you who have experienced "expedited" arbitration - either through the AAA or any other organization - did your arbiter(s) present the reasoning behind their decision?
