Hello - I have indicated my "preferred payment schedule" on the settings page and indicated a minimum balance for recieving an automatic payment based on that schedule.
Now, I am confused because I just reviewed the page below related to Automatic Payment Schedule:
It is stated in the webpage above that:
"...Balance Limit – On your scheduled payment date, if your balance equals or exceeds $100 (for U.S. freelancers) or $1,000 (for non-U.S. freelancers), your full balance will be paid out via your chosen payment method. Scheduled payments are always of your full available Upwork balance..."
Based on the quoted statement I will have to wait for my balance to reach $1000 before getting paid since I do not reside in the USA ! Is this correct ? If yes, then what is the point of indicating a minimum threshold (i.e. $100, $200, $300, $400,...,$1000) to begin with? It appears that non-US residents will always have to wait until the balance reaches $1000 in order to receive the automatic payment regardless of which threshold they chose!
Can someone please clarify this to me as I'm confused here. thank you!

No. You do not have to wait. You can MANUALLY withdraw whatever you like any time you like.
You may want to read what you quoted again. Carefully.
It says that for US freelancers, only a maximum of $ 100 can be held before it automatically gets sent to the chosen withdrawal method on the scheduled day. Even US freelancers can withdraw what they want, when they want. They just can't have MORE than $ 100 on their account, just as non-US freelancers can't have MORE than $ 1000, without it getting automatically withdrawn on the scheduled day, or after 180 days.

Any limits as to how many times I can withdraw manually per month/year?
