Project on hold

Hi, I have a question. A client gave me a job to work on but unfortunately, he also has a working account (i.e freelancing account) and he shared me the link to it in order to draw some information from it. I have completed his work and yet to deliver it but upwork has suspended our contract and blocked his working account. My question is: Can this have a negative effect on my upwork account or not?

What job would ever possibly involve you having to go to a client's freelancer profile?

Did you just visit the profile or did you actually log into his account?

Thanks for the reply. I did not log into his account, I just visited his
profile in order to know more about his skills and his completed projects.

Visiting a profile does not have any negative effect on your account, no.

If Upwork started checking academic credentials, I swear they would have to ban 75% of their workforce but at the same time I think they'd catch a lot of fake profiles.

Lol... That's true. Most freelancers do fake their qualifications in order
to win more jobs.
