Proposals not being viewed

Why should I be charged or use Connects if my proposals aren't being reviewed? Connects should be refunded when proposals go unviewed and the job is closed. This situation feels like an unfair imposition.

Upwork need your money, nothing else.

But noone will force you to waste money, don't apply if you don't like it. You can create good profile and wait for invites. It is free for now (i think it will be fixed soon, boosted profiles already added).
