Hi!
I am much newer on Upwork, I did create one Specialized Profile on Upwork. As I am seeing, two specialized profile is for everybody. Are there any chances that I could make three specialized profile? Because I have different services like-Data Entry, Digital Marketing and Web Development. 

Also, I would like to have more work on Upwork, so is there any opportunities on Upwork Community to get more works?

Hi Anamica, Upwork allows freelancers to create up to two specialized profiles in addition to their general profile.

Hi Yury,

You are able to delete any specialized profiles created, as long as you have at least one available. I'm afraid that since you only have one, you won't be able to delete it. You can always edit the information on it for accuracy to reflect your current experience and skills. Feel free to check this article to learn more.

Thanks for your answer, it's not a problem that I can't delete a specialized profile, but I asked about it because when I add a new job to my portfolio, I have a choice to add to my general profile or a specialized profile, I added in the general one, and new work appeared only in the main profile, but not in the specialized profile.

Should I add new works to the portfolio 2 times for both profiles?

Hi Yury,

Generally, you can add any portfolio to any of your specialized profiles. Currently, there is no limitation of being able to have the option to add the same portfolio on different specialized profiles. There's no need to duplicate it.

Hi, my issue is that several years ago I was working on UpWork as a music producer, it was my hobby and I received a lot of good reviews on that time. 

Now I'd like to focus on my main specialization that I've developed over last years which is data analysis and viz. 

I created a specialized profile, but the main one is not needed for me at this time. 

Can I somehow delete the old main profile and make a data analysis specialization for a Main profile? 

These fields are really widely separated and I believe that it creates not a good perception for a potential client when he sees such a division between main and specialized profiles.

Hi Maksym,

Thank you for your message. Many freelancers have multiple skills and list them in different jobs. You cannot delete your general profile, but you can update it with your new skills manually.

I would be happy to help. If you go to your Profile and click on your Specialised profile draft you should see the option to publish it. Here is a screenshot for reference.

Let us know if you do not see this option on your end and we will assist you further.

You can only have one account, that can be used for both freelancer and client, and also specialized/additional freelancer profiles.

I  created my specialized profile for UX/UI Design last week and the publish button is diabled even after adding portfolio to my specialized profile it's still in draft. Please I need help on how to navigate through this challenge. 

• I cleared my browser’s cookies and used a different browser when I encountered the challenge.
• At first, I used Chrome browser. After I encountered the problem, cleared my browser cookies I used Mozilla firefox yet the problem was not resolved.
• My Chrome browser version is 118.0.5993.71 (official Build) (64-bit) and Mozilla firefox browser is 118.02 (64-bit)
• Machine’s OS is 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
• Machine’s OS version is 22H2
• Machine's Edition is Windows 10 Pro
• The screenshots added shows how my specialized profile appears with the Publish button disabled and on request to add atleast one portfolio item and how it appears after addition of portfolio with the Go to preview button disabled and back button functional which hinders me from knowing the next action/instruction to take so as to publish my specialized profile.
• Also I have tried changing my profile picture over and over and couldn't do so even after ensuring that the picture does not exceed the reuired pixels.

Yes, you have option to show/hide review on specialized profiles. You can add/remove reviews using "edit icon" on specialized profiles, but the general profile shows all reviews by default.

Hi Eugenio,

I'm sorry if you're having difficulties creating a specialized profile. I was able to see the option to create a Specialized Profile by going to Settings> Profile Settings> Scroll it down until the Specialized Profile section. Please visit this screenshot for your reference.

I am unsure why my specialized profiles have not been visible since yesterday, especially since I have not made any recent changes to my profile.

I had two specialized profiles, one for social media marketing and a second for other digital marketing, but the second one is not displaying, and I did not receive any prior notifications about this issue.

Can anyone help me resolve this problem?

Bymistake I created a new profile named as "IT Compliance" while having same features in my General (main) profile. Now upwork asks everytime whenever I apply for a job or want to update any portfolio about the which profile I want to use for that particular task. I would like to delete my new created profile as it has same features with default/general profile.

I'm afraid it is not possible to delete a Specialized Profile if you only have one. You can always edit the information in that profile for accuracy and to reflect the experience you wish to display to your potential clients. You may check this article for more information.
