TEAM APP - What does this mean?

I was starting up my Team App today and found this.

Does anyone know what this is and why it costs $1 for a review. Review of what?

Has the client set up an activity code with that name?

No it's not the client.

It's a popup that appears where that box is.

It almost looks like you can have your memo reviewed as long as you pay $1 for it.

I'm pretty sure your client assigned you activity code(s) meant for another freelancer.

I have those from a client who has set up activity codes. The pop up I mean where I choose an activity (billing) code depending on what I am working on.

Look at the contract and check if there is anything under "Assigned Activities"

Well that's what it is and I have no idea why the client did this. I'll have to read up on it in the help files.

I'm so glad you know these things 🙂 8 years and I've never seen that.

Hi Jean,

Petra is correct and you can find out more about Activities in this help article. You can also see which Activities were assigned on a contract on the Job Details page.

This is the line that's been added.

Client says he did not add it.

Who put this there?

Activities:

  • ReviewSubmitted - $1 per acceptable verified review submitted.

Jean,

The client-company owner or hiring managers whose permissions are set accordingly can add, edit, archive or delete Activities.

The client said he does not know what it is and didn't do it.

Any chance he is fibbing 🙂

Chances are the client has, or had, a freelancer doing reviews for them and has set up an activity code for that, when they set up your contract they accidentally assigned this to yours, or originally set up the activity code in such a way that it can be chosen from all contracts.

Just ignore it, it does not affect you in any way, shape, or form, simply enter your memo (which is separate from activity codes) as usual.
