Today i got an email stating network feature is being discontinued. Well it definitely needed an update as many people have received constant spam. And tbh it didnt add much value so i think it's a good decision to discontinue and not invest more resources.
Yesterday i received a direct message from a prospective client. Many have complained about the fact that it was impossible to see clients history in such cases (as there is no job post but rather a direct message) so it's impossible to see red flags and avoid them. Yesterday i noticed it is not the case anymore and i can see clients history and reviews through the message room.
Well done Upwork. It's good to know feedback is being considered.
Maybe an even better improvement could be to create a public feature request/voting portal so that people can raise concerns or support "before" features are invested in, almost all companies do this "idea portal" or "user voice" thing.
I'll be the first one to vote for "dark mode" on web and desktop apps 🙂
