Top Rated eligible weeks

Hey guys,

My stat is showing Top Rated eligible weeks 16 of 16 now

There have been no changes to my profile as of yet.

Is there anything I need to do at this point?

You need a Job Success Score of at least 90%

Ok, but how?

By completing more contracts with great outcomes 🙂

You need at least 4, up to 8 or 9 contracts (depending on the size etc) with feedback, from at least 2 different clients.

You grinned because you know it's going to be a long and difficult ride.

These days, securing a GIG on Upwork is difficult. Only top-rated freelancers are chosen by 95% of clients. It is quite exhausting.

I didn't grin. I winked because it's a pretty easy to find answer. And you already have several advantages over other freelancers who are relatively new. It would have been a easier if you had had feedback on those two contracts you closed.

Please tell me where you got that idea from? Source for that claim? 95%? Really?

You also, as has been pointed out, haven't earned anywhere near enough money.

The requirements for Top rated status are already very, very low.

Petra,  I was only making a joke about you grinning. I wasn't quite serious.

Yeah, I know I haven't earned a lot 🙂 , I am still new here 🙂

That statistic was derived from my own assumptions (nothing serious, I might be wrong), I had submitted multiple proposals and interviewed for jobs where I felt my skill sets were strong. I am surprised when I discover that the client has hired a different freelancer (Top Rated). I have also looked through the history of most of Upwork's top clients, and I noticed they have a history of hiring top-rated freelancers.

However, thank you for the information so far. Is it still possible to ask for feedback on completed/closed contracts?

Hi Bright,

Feedback can be left on a contract for 14 days after it has ended. You can learn more about this here.
