If your PAN No. is going wrong or any digit has changed or whatever reason,
It should checkout first and then you have update it

Thank you, I have given the same name in the Tax payer field as it appears in my PAN. The PAN has a seperate field for father name. Should I include in Tax payer field/ Also please advice how to link Aadhar and PAN in upwork.

I have filled all information about my PAN. Even after this, there was 5% tds deduction on each payment transfer. please review it.

Thank you for sharing your concern. Upon checking, it looks like your PAN is not verified yet. I'd like to clarify that your name in your PAN should match exactly your 'Legal Name of Taxpayer' in the W-8BEN section of your Tax information here. If you’ve made a mistake, you can always update it.               I have filled all my Tax details but still on my first payment 5% withholding tax was applied.  All my TAX details are Complete, but still upwork charged me 5% withholding tax. Can anyone please help me.

I am from India, my tax ID is not getting verified. However, I have entered all the information correctly. It always comes back after a few days saying "Unable to verify your tax ID number on Upwork." Please help.
