Upwork Certificate of Earnings

Hello Everyone!

I am in India and ideally my earnings from overseas clients should be considered as foreign earnings but it is not because funds are transferred in my local currency (INR). My question is can I use the Upwork certificate of earnings as a proof that my earnings are in effect "foreign earnings"? That way I get some tax benefits if this certificate is considered as a valid proof.

NB- I know for sure that if I switch to wire transfer mode then my earnings will surely be considered as "foreign earnings" but without shifting to wire transfer if I can use the upwork certificate of earnings as a proof then that will be great.
