Upwork Jobs Visibility

Clients have the option to post a job as "US only" and "Worldwide".

Do jobs posted as US only only show for US located freelancers? or those outside of US can see them too? (I know they can't apply even if they see them, but am asking about visibility of jobs)

So generally, are there any cases where certain job posts (public jobs) are visible for certain freelancers but not for others, when freelancers search?

Hi Richard,

Freelancers who are located in the U.S. will be able to see those jobs. Only once they have verified their location will they be able to apply to them. You can visit this page for more information about their verification process.

Does this mean those outside of the US won't be able to see those jobs? meaning there are jobs that people outside of the US can't see when they search?

This is correct.  Jobs posted as "U.S. Only" are only visible to freelancers who are located in the U.S.
