Upwork Platform Performance Concern

Hello,

I am on this platform from Elance period since year 2013. Elance platform availability & experience was commendable. 

Upwork platform's availability & experience is gradually downgrading. Non-availability/failure every week is a regular norm. Intermittently feature diminishing from the platform is also an added service. Observed an autrocious sight today 27 Oct. on this platform for a client who is a member from May 2019. This client from Australia who has been active and has spent US$ 1K total. So?

A client's payment method can become unverified. Credit cards expire, for example.

 

What is your point? 

"Payment method not verified" status are assigned to new customer. Interim status need to be 'Payment method being re-verified" different during payment method linked to the profile  is being rechecked.

Or clients who are no longer verified because of issues with their payment method. Or clients who have been suspended, or... or... or....

There is no such designation. How would you know that a "payment method being reverified?"

You shouldn't start working for a client until their payment method is verified, so knowing that a verification is in progress doesn't make any difference; you still have to wait until it's complete.

Clients don't have to verify their payment method just to post a job; as long as they verify before hiring you, it's fine. It's not a platform bug, and I fail to see what's so atrocious about it? You have no reason to report this client.
