Upwork Warning and a Cancelled Contract

Hey all,

 

I stupidly did not see an email from Upwork saying that they cancelled a contract I was working on, and Upwork slapped me with a warning ( which I understand in hindsight). I had already attached work, and the contract still shows as " active" in " My Jobs". What does this mean for this contract? I have never had one cancelled by Upwork before - will it just poof at some point with the money in escrow too? Does the client get the same email?

It looks like you're already in correspondence with the team on this support ticket. Please allow more time for them to follow up with you. Once that happens, you'll be notified about it. Regarding your question, yes, your client is notified as well.
