I don't know, but they look terrible.

Edit: I apologize to the designer; my opinion regarding Upwork's graphics are irrelevant. As a graphic designer (who no longer does much graphic design) I should not be disrespectful to any designer or disparage their work.

I think the designer was "AI."

More gamification. What a shame. Between Upwork making a farce of the forum and the "AI" chatbot posts, it's difficult for new, inexperienced, and those who don't speak English as native or bilingual to see the real freelancers, like you, who consistently provide valid, helpful information.

The question shouldn't be what are they for, it should be why does Upwork insist on taking something that provided useful information and turn it into a cheap arcade for people who believe, like the OP, that these badges mean something

I see NOTHING wrong with courses, certifications, continued education and upskilling. I was just wondering, when I looked in that section, I found these there. Not a BIG deal, not sure why everything is negative. Simple question, I see new badges, where are the courses for these new badges, that is the question. Keep it simple.

Yeah... I have never seen the Snowflake and Looker Learning Paths. Some of the other Academy badges have corresponding courses/learning paths, so maybe they are placeholders for Snowflake and Looker courses/learning paths that may be upcoming.

Unless Upwork is using a double meaning, this is cloud developer stuff, as is "looker explorer" and "looker developer."
