What should we use the Network for?

Hi there!

I finally got access to the much-awaited Network on Upwork!

However, now that I have access, I don't know exactly what to use it for, or who to add to my network.

I don't know many freelancers on the platform. Should I just invite 'random' people in my job categories to join my network?

What is the benefit of the network for me? Will it allow me to get more jobs?

Any help is greatly appreciated! (Or, if you want to join a network, feel free to let me know!)

Hi Pablo,

With your Network, you can find and connect with other professionals on Upwork so you can share ideas, compare notes, and collaborate to win bigger projects together. When this feature becomes available to you, you can add professionals using their name or email address, and once they accept your request, you can communicate with them through Upwork.

After alpha, beta, gamma, it turns out that you can add people to your network and "message" them.
