Will external contracts appear on my Upwork profile?

I am talking to a client outside Upwork and I am considering that we start the contract on Upwork so I am asking if this happens will the project also appear on my profile just like the normal contracts I get on the platform?

Thank you for reaching out and raising this query here in the Community. Absolutely! Once you and your client decided to move your project to Upwork, you will then need to establish a contract within the platform. Just like your other contracts with Upwork, it will appear on your profile as long as there's at least a $1 payment.
