Hey guys!

I registered as freelancer, not agency, but all money I am getting here I want to put to my company account in Poland because I need it to continue my living card here.

Does anyone of you have such experience ?

How much taxes do you pay ?

Accountant guys here in Poland eaten my mind with all complexity of this process.

First of all, they said I need to give them a contract with Upwork but there would be written my name, not a company.

Upwork agreed to write on act of confirmation of services documents my company name because I submitted as payment method my company bank account.

But my accountant guys said that ideally they want to see an invoice number in this document but Upwork rejected to add it.

How do you do that ?

Hi Sergey,

I see our team already advised you regarding the documents we can provide, so please check the information Joachim shared here and consult a local tax advisor or accountant who specialises in IT business. If you have further questions feel free to post them here or follow up on your open ticket.

Sergey, if the tax laws in Poland work even remotely similar as they do here, also consider that Upwork's fee invoices probably won't be accepted as business expenses, meaning that you'll have to pay taxes on the full amount charged to the client, including the 20% + VAT Upwork will take.
