I was recently hired for a job and the client set a $5 milestone before the project began to ensure that I was capable of completing the work. I sent some sample images and the client was satisfied, so I proceeded with the rest of the images. After completing all the edits, I sent the files to the client. However, upon receiving the files, the client claimed that I had not completed the job correctly and accused me of wasting his time. He then ended the contract with the $5 milestone, despite my having completed the work. Unfortunately, I had trusted him and gave him all the files, and he only paid me $5. Now I'm wondering if I can file a complaint or dispute against him.?
