I asked my client to create a second milestone for our project.

The client is asking for more working from me and threatening for

negative response if i discontinue his project which i cannot continue without getting payment for 8 months work.

The team reviews all reports against Upwork ToS and takes actions as needed.

Start working on new tasks once a previous Milestone had been released and a new Milestone has been created and funded. Please find more information in this Help article.
