Seems there are too many of those in the last few days. I reported them. They're still there taking up space.

Hi Susan,
Thanks for flagging this. I’ve escalated this report to the correct team for their review and the project has already been taken down because it was in violation of Upwork TOS and action has been taken on the client account.

Hi Susan,
Thank you for taking the time to report it to the team. I'd like to also check on this for you. Could you please send me a PM with the link to the job post you're referring to so I can check?

Susan: I looked at your screenshot.
This is a job post FOR an "escort."
Not "from" an "escort."

Here is an example of a job "from" an escort:
"I am an escort. I have a two-page legal document that I need translated from English into German."
That is not what you posted a link to (and a screenshot showing).
You posted a job "for" an "escort."
A job "from" an "escort"
is not the same thing as
a job "for" an escort."
The difference is in the preposition: "for" versus "from."
One way that we can distinguish between the meaning a job "for" somebody versus a job "from" somebody is this:
Put yourself in the situation. Imagine that you are a business owner who wants to hire a logo designer. You would post a job "for" a logo designer.
We could call this:
"a job post for a logo designer."
But what if YOU are a logo designer, and you want to create a website that demonstrates your portfolio. You would post a job posting on Upwork to hire a website creator. We would call this:
"a job post from a logo designer."
This may seem like mere semantics. But it isn't. The distinction is important for a number of reasons. One of those reasons is this: Upwork has no prohibition against job posts from escorts based on the fact that the job post is being posted by an escort. So the title of this thread is problematic if the quotes are removed and the thread title is taken literally, because it then indicates the identification of a job post which violates no ToS rules, but is being identified as if it does violate ToS.
Also, the thread title has the word "jobs" in quotes, as if a posting is "posting" as a "job," but it really isn't. This thread title thus suggests that you have identified spam advertisements "from" escorts, who are using a job post to advertise their availability as escorts. This would indeed be a violation of Upwork ToS. Such jobs would be quickly removed if freelancers flagged them, because job posts may not be used to advertise services. Of any kind. It would not matter if the job post was from a computer programmer offering services to create a website, or an escort advertising escort services. The operational principle in the ToS violation is the fact that it is a spam advertisement for services.
So the title suggest something different from what you identified for two reasons:
- the word "jobs" is in quotes
- the word "from" is used instead of "for"
The proper title for this thread is:
jobs for escorts?
