Account creation: Activation text not an option.

I'm createing my account, and for security reasons, Upwork needs a telephone number. Upwork wants to send an SMS text messege, includeing a verification number, which I will in turn enter.

Problem is, I use a skype number, and can't recieve SMS text messeges.

What should I do here? What's the propper procedure?
