Adding a Billing Method

I am not able to add my payoneer card at upwork for freelancing work. It says the card did not passed their security check.? can i get some help on this please..

What are you trying to add?

1. A WITHDRAWAL method so you can get paid for work you do?
2. A BILLING method so you can pay Upwork for the work of people you hire?

If 1. you are trying to add your Payoneer card to the wrong place (You need "Get Paid" in settings, NOT "Billing Methods")

If 2. you can not use a prepaid card, such as Payoneer, as a Billing method, only as a withdrawal method.

Can I add Payoneer card into Palpay for Billing method?

I try but allways display message as image attached.

Hi Smith,

Prepaid cards like Payoneer can't be used as a billing method on Upwork and you can only use a verified PayPal account when selecting the PayPal billing option. Alternative, you can set up a credit card as explained in this Help article.

Disregarding whether billling or withdrawing, it quite looks like you need to activate your card, that is the reason it platform cannot accept such card, go to card account and see the steps necessary for activating, I have such card it is not difficult thing to do.

Also, Upwork does not permit every payment method in every country.

my card is activated i was just picking up the wrong option. thanks for your help. 🙂
