Can I send fanart in proposals?

Hi, I was wondering if I could send pokemon fanart of mine to a potential client who's asking for something pokemon related? I wanted to show them I could draw in the style, but want to make sure it's allowed first.

Thank you!

Hi Caroline,

Thank you for reaching out to us. Yes, you can add this as an attachment to your proposals so the client will see your work. Please check this help article to see the supported files you can add to your proposals.

Thank you!

There's a pretty good chance that the moderator didn't understand your question. Presumably you're asking about copyright and not just about whether it's possible to attach work with your bid? If you're hoping to sell fan art here, you need to research copyright issues yourself, because whether or not it's okay will depend on the circumstances. For example, if the client wants Pokémon t-shirts or posters to be designed for him to sell, that's not okay and you shouldn't apply to such projects. But if they just want art that's a similar style, that's fine.
