Changing account from Client to Freelancer

I am trying to change my account from Client to Freelancer.  I have followed the steps given on the forum, but I must be missing something as when I create a new account it is only showing Create New Client account, the Freelancer account is darkened out and will not allow me to click on it.  Help please!

I just checked your account and you have already opened a freelancer profile, if you`re on your client profile click on your name at the top right corner to switch to your freelancer profile. Complete your application and submit it for a review by clicking on the green button Review Application. Our team will review your application in up to 24 hours and reach out to you with the results, thank you.
