Filling tax information

Hello,

I'm a US citizen who recently moved to London, UK and created an Upwork profile to help make some extra money while looking for a full-time job. I added my US social security number, address and legal name, but I have some further questions:

1. Do I need to add a VAT number too? I have not registered for a VAT number yet but wanted to see if I need to do it first.

2. Does Upwork provide W9 forms for US citizens?

3. Does this mean that I have to do my US taxes every year through the Upwork W9 form even though I live in London, UK now?

4. Is there anything else I should do from a tax and legal perspective to start working through Upwork?
