What is the chance of getting a job with 50+ proposals already sent?

Really, I don't know, but I don't even apply at those offers

Upwork looks like favoring the rich freelancers at this moment. Easier jobs not only have 50= proposals also they are simply un-bid-able. So the best thing I guess is to improve myself. Most people may just be happy with their skillsexpertise. But if I keep on improving myself and bid with rarer skills, I think I have a chance

Better you stay away until you have a very specialised and relevant portfolio that you are sure on to let you win the job.

Number of proposal dont really increase in Winning a JOB.
Winning a Job is all about the Way you understand the the Job and its requirements. You must have knowledge of the exact demand the clients is demanding. After understanding you just have to highlight the points they you are gona take to complete that task, and these points must be written good so that you satisfy the client.
Clear you Ideas by asking some question about the missing information in the JOB Description.
Show them some of your past work.
Do write in a mix manner of professional and Some friendliness. Make them believe that you are really capable for the JOB.
I recommend to build a Portfolio Website too.
