Hi,

My name is Mukhtar Mukhlis, I am really glad to have signed up to Upwork and I am also very enthusiastic in doing works from this platform.

I am from Nigeria in the city of Abuja. I got to know of Upwork through a friend of mine that told me about the security status of the platform.

Initially I worked in a business center for a year and have acquired expertise in areas comprising: Typesetting and graphics designing.

I have gotten 1 year of experience where I worked and I am ready to work on this platform.

I am really hoping to learn a lot of skills from others on this platform.

I am really looking up to being inspired by successful individuals who excel very well in the field of ICT.

Good morning, my name is María del Pilar Urrea. I live in Colombia, Tabio.  I graduated as a Bilingual Secretary from the Centro Colombo Americano in Bogotá. I worked as a Bilingual Secretary in different companies such as Rodrigo Llorente y Asociados, Ford Motor Argentina in Buenos Aires, and Halliburton Company with its subsidiary Otis Engineering Corp. I am self-taught, and in that way I have learned many other trades.  I am a painter, I write stories and tales, I sing, and I have learned about small business administration, bakery, pastry making, and event organization.  For 25 years I have worked as an  Arts and English teacher for children and adults.  I retired six months ago.  I am grateful for the opportunity to continue learning and being able to work virtually.

 I am very good at typing, translating, creative content.  I am interested in learning more. I live in Tabio, Cundinamarca, Colombia.

 I constantly learn from everyone around me.  By joining UPWORK, I know that I will learn from you how to navigate this virtual world.

Hi everyone.

I am Darcy Phillips from a littlte known town in the state of Maine. I am a Stay at home mom of 2 (14 year old daughter and 7 year old son) also a military spouse. I am looking for something that will give me the time to be home with my kids and yet still help my husband with bills (He is a Navy reservist) and do something I love.

I have helped friends back in high school (graduated 20 years ago) with proofreading, editing, and how things flowed with their stories that they written back then usually while we were heading to cross country meets. I am a avid book reader and while I do have stories of my own getting them down is hard for me so I am hopeful that one day I can write my stories with what I learn from proofreading and editing others. I am also Christian so any work I get with other Christian authors I will need what version they use for any scripture so i can double check the reference correctly.  My hobbies are knitting running biking and swiming along with reading. My family is important to me so i want something i can do and still spend time with them

My inspiration in the field of translation is the ability to communicate with others from different cultures. I believe that language is a powerful tool that can be used to break down gender divides.
I am also inspired by the ability to express oneself through writing. I like to be able to influence others in a way that enables them to influence them.
Next words:
Literature: I love reading books from all over the world. Discover that literature is a great way to learn new cultures and understand different points of view.
Music: Music inspires me a lot. You will find that music can be a powerful emotion and can be used for a certain atmosphere.
Nature: I love being in nature. I discover that presence is a source of calm and serenity and can help me think in new ways.

Here are some tips
Find inspiration in the field of translation and writing:
Calmness, listening, difficulty, writing, reading
Especially the literature section in your language.
