I am new here in upwork and I am already impressed to the people and environment here. It is like a place of opportunities.

I wanna share 3 interesting things about me and why I'm here in Upwork: First, I am 2nd year college student with a course of Bachelor in English Education here in Manila, Philippines. I am a working student since high school and it was never a problem, it is actually the reason why I grow up to be independent and motivated. Secondly, I am a great communicator. I have a sense of passion in English language and socialize. Many of my peers, teachers, co-workers, family, and friends describe me as a living English book. I really really really love books. It is my escape from the real world. Lastly, aside from the skills I have mentioned above, I am also a technology literate. I can able to make posters, flyers, infographics, and etc. 

I am hoping to have a career, financial, and life growth in this environment.

I've already tried sending 2 proposals but I think it didn't work because I received a notification that they will refunded the connects I have sent. Does it mean I was not accepted?

I am planning to find a job realated to data entry, I don't have any experienced yet so it is kinda hard looking for a clients who will accept a beginner. Can you give me some advice on how should I start and luckily find my first job.
