Hey guys,
this is my first time posting here.
I am on UpWork for a few month now, and it starts to get a little bit momentum.
This week I will breach the 1000 Dollar total earnings.
However, I am still pretty unsatisfied, how few of my proposals come back with an interview invitation.
Could you guys give me a short review of my profile?
What do you like?
What dont you like?
What would you change?
I would appreciate any Feedback!

Don't hesitate to space the text by adding an extra blank line between paragraphs, to improve readability.
Also you may want to spend some little money to have it edited by a native English-speaking proofreader to make it sound better.
I would leave this out: "If you have read this far, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to read through my profile. I hope it answered some of your questions!"
Off topic: WordPress specialists are a dime a dozen on Upwork. You may want to find a niche to specialize in addition to your WP skills. I know squat about WP, but maybe you can find something that fewer people do to highlight on your profile.
I've updated my profile according to your reply. I will try to find a niche to reflect my specific skills for WP. Thank you for the suggestions, Rene!

Hello Upworkers!
I don't know how to make my profile look more interesting.
I have no experience on any freelance platform.
Thank you for your time and advices.

Dear UpWork Community,
May I impose on you for a quick review of my profile? I've been submitting proposals for a couple of months and only received two responses, no calls to interview.
An UpWork champion who sends me emails every now and then suggested I add a couple of testimonials on top. I'd prefer to put them at the end. I think the WIIFT should take top billing. What do you suggest?
Also, can you see how long I've been a member on my profile? I don't see it from my view. I'm concerned because I updated my profile from an old Elance profile I never used and I'm nervous that prospective clients see a 7-year-old profile with zero work history. That would send huge red flags if it were me looking for a freelancer.
I would be grateful for any tips/suggestions you care to make to help me start getting interviews/jobs. I'm hungry!
Thanks,
Phoebe

Hello, I just got my profile approved (finally!) a few hours ago, but now I am not sure if it is good enough for people to accept me.
I tried to fill it up as much as I can, but if there is anything I can add or change that you can tell me, that would be greatful!

Peace:
That looks like a strong, well-crafted profile page to me.
Good portfolio pieces.
But there are only two. I would add a few more.
Suggestion: Don't list "Presentations" as one of your skills unless you include examples in your portfolio.

Hello everyone!
I am a new freelancer on Upwork (I signed up a week ago). I would like to ask you just to take a quick look and give me a feedback on my profile. As I've been reading many provided and given advices, tips and tricks, guidelines etc; and I want to make sure my profile is good to go.
I submitted around 25-27 customized proposals, 7 of which are closed, didn't receive any job invitations yet 😞
I would really appreciate your honest feedback, reviews, corrections and advices, this will help me to determine and analyze my strong and weak sides.
Also, I noticed, some other freelancers have a blue check mark next to the "Language" section. How do I verify my language knowledge? I did couple of tests and it gave me check marks next to "My skills" section.
Thanks in advance.
Best,
Sophie

Hi everybody!
i'm looking for some advices on how to improve my portfolio.
I registered on Upwork last year (if i remember well) but i started to use it just last month, and despite many bad stories i read, and even missing a JSS or a shiny Raising Talent badge, things are working out quite well for me at the moment, i got some jobs, wonderful clients and good reviews.
but there is always margin for improvement.
so i'm here to get some feedback from people with more experience than me (which includes pretty much everyone) on how to do things properly..or more properly?
thank you in advance for taking some time to destroy my ego.
Valerio
edit: i just changed my visibility options, the profile should be available soon.

Hello everybody,
Please, can you review my profile? I am new to this community and did not receive any invitations yet.
I would like someone to give me a feedback.
Thank You.

Hey Assel!
Unfortunately, your profile is not public so we can't review them. Just you shouldn't wait for invitations, It is not likely clients will invite newcomers to their jobs. You should apply for them.
Happy Freelancing!

Hi Experts,
Can you please review my profile and tell me how can I make it more impressive?
All the reviews are highly positive and I always delivered more than expected.

Remove all the feedback from yout info box. It is available just below and takes away the room for relevant information.
You also start by writing you have a 100% Job Success whereas just above it says 97%. Not very convincing when somebody looks at your profil. It just leaves me behind wondering where else you have been "lying".
Retake some test to improve your result.
Since you keep having jobs your profil seems impressive enough for most clients.
Jan 19, 2018 04:53:31 AM by Ruth B
I agree with Jennifer about the feedback. I think if you want to include it, you should pick the very best feedback you can, and get rid of the rest. It just makes my eyes glaze over, and I don't want to read all of them.

Define your profession and use it. Check out other people profiles to get ideas.

stuff that saves time and money

I agree with Jennifer that it's probably fine since you're getting plenty of jobs. But here's my take:
The wording is somewhat awkward and there are little errors here and there that reflect that English is not your first language. Since you can't simply will yourself to be a native English speaker there's not much you can do about that, short of having someone else write your profile, which would be dishonest. But you should be able to go through it carefully and at least catch something here and there that you could word better. For example, there is one instance where you inadvertently pasted the identical paragraph a second time; certainly you could clean up sloppiness like that.
I agree with what others have said about the feedback quotes. I'd either delete those, or keep only a couple of them and move them closer to the bottom. Where they are now kind of breaks up the flow.

I'd a;sp appreciate a review of my profile from the experts here.
I've managed to win one contract so far (and anothre one where the client said they wanted me to proceed and then vanished) but most of my proposals are unanswered.
I've had better luck since I started putting a particular bit of info in my prposals but any suggestions for more improvement would still be welcome.

Dear upwork community members.
I'm new here and would kindly ask some support to check my profile and give some feedback.
I believe I have a strong profile and followed all steps recommended to create a strong introduction and cover letter. I have checked blogs and tutorials, and in all honesty can't seem to understand the reason I haven't got any replies to my 20 bids over the last 15 days.
Can someone be kind enough to help me?
Thank you in advance.

Hey guys,
Fairly new to Upwork. I hit a rut after my second job and got some good feedback from the community to revamp my overview. Would you be willing to check it out and offer some good feedback?
I tried to implement the changes without making the overview flat and... boring. Let me know what you guys think and more importantly, what I should improve on. Any feedback is good feedback.
Thanks, guys.
Here it is:
CREATIVE COPYWRITING TO CONVERT YOUR READERS INTO BUYERS OR SIGNUPS
I'm not even sure how I made it through the first half of one of my classes in high school.
I completely winged it on my assignments. I was never sure if those grades would get me failed or land me amazing results that semester. I was afraid that all the hard work I'd invested would be for nothing and I'd just get an F anyway.
But then a teacher gave me a secret to producing mouthwatering assignments to get me great results every single time.
And sure in enough, after using her methods, I was consistently pulling in A+ after A+ on my assignments.
Much like me at the time, you're probably winging it with your copy and you're afraid that your campaign won’t be a success. Or maybe you're losing sleep over the mediocre results you're getting right now.
Look, I get it.
But what if I told you that there are proven (psychology-backed) methods, used in good copywriting, that will get you results.
I use these methods to craft creative and conversational copy that will:
* Instantly put you and your business a step ahead of your competitors.
* Get your readers to take action with ease.
* Get you the most from your marketing efforts.
* Give your copy the extra oomph it needs to convert your leads.
I'll help you get these results by crafting:
- Personable emails that excite your readers.
- Landing pages/sales pages that will have your readers mentally nodding in agreement with every line.
- Product descriptions that give you maximum punch in a small space.
I can do these for you if:
* You want to sell a product or service.
* You’d like to get signups for your newsletter.
* You want people to subscribe to your blog.
* You're generating leads with a lead magnet.
* Your current copy needs an expert eye to look at it and give it that extra something that drives the conversion.
* You have a marketing strategy in place and just need someone to write the copy.
* You like working with rockstar copywriters.
In a utopian Upwork world, good copywriters should be able to work for all clients willing to pay them. But full disclosure, my services will not work for you if:
* You want bland, generic copy.
* You don't really want to excite your readers.
* You want to waste your marketing budget.
* You don't care about building trust between you and your readers.
* You don't want to be established as an authority in your field.
* You just don't like winning in general.
But if that doesn't sound like you, then I can't wait to hear about your project and start brainstorming ways to help you connect with your audience in a way that resonates with them.
Feel free to click any of the contact buttons on this page so that we can get started.

I can see where you were going with this, but I don't think it works for Upwork to be honest. Clients get masses of applications, if they had to read through dozens of lengthy overviews like that they would swiftly lose the will to live.
It's also a hell of a lot of words to say essentially very little. It's a bit gimmicky (almost like one of those "how to become a millionaire in a week" things) and it's all about you.
The place to showcase your creativity is your portfolio...
