Why a freelancer use over 20 connects in proposals?

This new add for "bids", looks kind of crazy for me. Freelancers are spending a lot of connects to send proposals and I think thats just crazy.

yes, really it's craziness. if you have a good profile there is no need for craziness client will attract you I don't use the boost feature I try to bid when the proposal is less than 5. if your skills match client criteria definitely you will get noticed
