If you don't get paid each week. You're doing it wrong.

 

That is true for hourly contracts AND fixed-price contracts.

 

Dont be one of those (unwise) freelancers who works on a fixed-price project for 3 months and ends up never getting paid.

 

Make sure you're paid every week. Or don't work.
