My client and I both want to switch to a one-time project payment instead of an hourly rate. . .how do we make this happen? thanks! Adair

The easiest way to do this is for the client to close the current contract. Then have her create a new fixed-price contract. She can post it as a private invite-only job so that other people don't see it or apply.

Then she can send you a private invitation to the job. You will accept, and she will hire you.
