I am not able to log in into my other account cause when I go and try I receive this error message when I have already used my account and posted jobs "You have not activated the Google sign in method for this account. Please choose another sign in method for this email address."

My work email is no longer hosted by Google so I'm unable to sign in using SSO. I had created a password to sign on before the gmail was deactivated but Upwork does not give me the option to sign in with my password --only Google SSO.

Hi all, i recently changed my email now when i try to sign in using that email it shows the above error likee google sign in not activated but i can sign in by using my previous email by entering the security question . Can someone assist me plz

Hi!
It seems like the Google sign-in method hasn't been activated for your new email.
You can resolve this by going to your account settings, navigating to the sign-in methods, and ensuring Google is linked to your new email. If it's still linked to the old one, try removing it and re-adding it with your new email.
You might also need to check your Google account permissions.

I had to make this account because my main one won't work. I used to log in via username/password, but now it says it uses Google for SSO. When I try to sign in via google, it opens the pop-up, I click to confirm/continue, and then it closes the pop-up but doesn't show an error message nor logs my account in.
How can I log in to my original account? I have freelancers waiting on me and I can't send them payment. I'm not sure how else to submit a support ticket than asking here... thanks in advance for any assistance!

My Upwork account has a weird glitch where I can't sign-in with my email and password or Google sign-in, the minute I enter my email and press continue to enter my password I get this message ''this email address uses Google sign-in'' and when I try to sign-in with google, I would get an error this account doesn't have google sign-in setup. I tried to clear the history and un-sync my Google account in my Google Chrome browser and sync it again, after I tried multiple times it let me in my Upwork account without asking for my password then I tried to remove the Google sign-in feature in my account settings to avoid this login error but it won't let me either. when I try to go to settings and press edit next to the password it doesn't do anything. I would appreciate it if anyone can help. Thanks

Hi, I have the same problem. I'm sending this message from a newly created Upwork account because I can't login to my main one. The issue is that when I try logging in with my Google account, it says it doesn't have Google sign in set up.
