Some freelancers will be eligible for digital photo verification in place of a video call. To complete digital photo, or "selfie" verification, you'll be asked to take a photo of yourself on your computer or mobile device. If you run into any issues with your Browser Settings for Visual Verification you can check this help article. For any other issues, please reach out to our support team.

Hi Luiggi, could you check the verification process now? I tried ID and selfie verification. Upwork got detected my ID automatically but didn't detect my face automatically. so I submitted my selfie manually as per requirements. Not sure what the issue is. Please review my verification process and let me know the update. thanks.

I am facing a problem and hope you guys can help me.I opened the account after a week I was sent for verification I did the verification but still it didn't apply no message sent to me upwork.If I have a verification problem how will I know if my verification is correct if I am not notified.Due to which I am not able to send any proposal for any work,

I checked your account and see that your selfie is being rejected because your Upwork profile picture doesn't meet Upwork requirements.
Your profile photo must meet the following requirements:
Please check this article for more information on updating your profile photo. Once you've updated it, you can try uploading your ID again from the Identity Verification settings page.

I wear veil and I uploaded my picture with mask on face but Upwork doesn't accept it and ask me to "Upwork support" if you needed religious exemption for Profile picture. I contact support and describe my issue in detail that I need religious exemption for Profile picture but chatbot doesn't connect me with the human agent. I've tried 2 to 3 times but everytime it doesn't solve my problem and worst part is that when I check "my requests" all of them were marked as solved.

Hi,
I'm kind of new to upwork as I got my maiden project on this platform. I had however, opened this account sometime back but never used it as I wasn't getting clients.
Luckily, I have got my first project but the problem is the verification. I'm finished the first milestone and the client is ready to pay but then got a notificati on stating that I had to verify my ID.
Following this, I was promoted to send a text on my phone which was a link to upwork. The first step consists of positioning the phone's camera in such a way that it captures my ID and takes my selfie. However, after repeated attempts, I failed as the live camera wasn't able to detect my ID and selfie.
What do I do in this situtaion?
Help please.

Hi,
I have successfully uploaded My ID and did my face recognition test through Upwork identity verification. After they reviewed it, They suggested me to update the profile picture according to their regulations. So I changed that too. But After it showed the "appear on the camera" test again, I couldn't see any CONTINUE BUTTON on the interface! What I do next? How to continue the verification?
can any one help me with this issue? or is it a bug in the system?
