Tips for finding that first job

Hi all,

Welcome to the Upwork Community! We know landing that first contract can be challenging, so we built Upwork Academy and threads like this to help you get started. With a lot of resources and so little time, we wanted to put together some recommendations for you to check out first:

Do you have a specific question or maybe a tip to offer? Reply to this post and share your question, advice, or words of inspiration!

hi sir

Hello

I am firsr time using upwork and linkdin profile using all time. I am expert in linked in outreached and connect writeing.

Do you guide me how to get client on LinkedIn

You're on Upwork, why are you asking for a job on Linkedin?
You have to remove your email from your photo and portfolio.
Your presentation seems created with AI, is your English really conversational?

A presentation created with AI? Also without care, you are wasting space due to line breaks.
The title and content do not seem to be related.
The photo, is it really you? I have found too many similar ones.

Hello

Hello there I'm glo and I am new here I hope to learn something new

The photo must be of you. Your profile is nothing.
Follow the Academy and the links in the first post.

Hi..

I'm still confused on the billing methods.

Is it possible to pay for membership after i made some money?

Hi! Mark enem yalgebugn negeroch alu please asredagn

Your profile is nothing right now.
You are a logo designer, photo editor and an artist. How do you want clients to know that you are all that if you don't have a portfolio?
And you should rewrite the presentation, if possible without AI.
Go to ACADEMIA and follow the links in the main post.

Hi everyone, my name is Gio and I'm a VA with strong operational experience, digital marketing, and project management experience. I'm not sure how these forums work but figured I'd post in here since Upwork is sending me emails to do so!

I'm starting to get overflow of client work so if anyone has experience with virtual admin services, or social media marketing, content planning, or paid ads feel free to send me a message.
