Hi,
So I have a client who is experiencing an issue setting up a billing method for Upwork. They have a UnionPay card, which I believe is not accepted via Upwork. The client is located within China. How should I proceed to receive funds from them for work that I complete?
I am asking on their behalf as they are new to the platform and not particularly well-versed in English. So I will pass the message on.

Your client needs a proper >(real)< credit card (or, in some countries, a verified and suitably funded (by proper credit card or bank account) PayPal account) or they will not be able to hire you on Upwork.
