To Upwork:
I canceled a project with a developer that never got started on our project.
The fixed amount of the project was $500.
When I requested an escrow refund it said $500 had been refunded on July 28. However, the company I work for is asking why $525 was not refunded instead.
The accounts payment team showed me a credit card receipt that shows $525 was indeed charged on 6/28 — but we only got a $500 refund back. Again, no services were rendered.
I need to have someone from Upwork to respond to this.
Any idea why the full $525 charge is not being refunded?
