A better question is: What isn't factorization?

You're an exponent and I am Logarithm.

algorithm = Logarithm.

Factorization is a path to Logarithms.

In exponent language - O(N)

Is this a new way of teaching maths?  It reminds me of my school physical geography teacher, who would say things like "I'm a river", as he imitated the flow of a river!

At the very least you remembered your highschool teacher.

Every one learns differently. You like to learn in your own unique way.

To you 'll say:

Factorisation: 2 outcomes from one event ...balance. You multiply, then you add.

and you're right, it's a new way of learning math.

Did you go to a school for interpretive dance?

I think he meant there wasn't a connection with the geography teacher.

He didn't quite understand his pattern of teaching.

Somebody like Richard may be very good with numbers and physical math.

I checked his Upwork profile and see I am right.

To Richard, this will make more sense.

Factorizing the following quadratic equation x2 + 6x - 16 gives this ( x - 2 ) ( x + 8 ).

We all don't see the universe the same.

The real reason I raised this topic is that I have found a way to apply this algorithm to everyday life and it works. I'll post it soon.

No, but perhaps my teacher did. And I took up interpretive dance later,  so perhaps he inspired me.

An answer to the question - what is factorization?

Nobody has the answer - there isn't one path to truth.

There is just truth, your truth, you must find it.

How? we could employ factorization.

Factors could be understood as objects, events in time, the call stack in JavaScript, or Observables in RxJS. That is my ego talking.

Factors could be recognized as numbers.

1 is a factor, 2 is a factor.

Biden is blue and Trump is red. How do we factorize?

we can look at them as two distinct factors or are they one and the same?

One is fire and the other is water.

Fire with Trump - it has its pros and cons.

Water with Obama - it had its pros and cons.

Overhydration can lead to homeostatic intoxication.

Dehydration and you could become delirious.

People seek direction, even leaders do too.

Trump is Trump - he showed you his truth.

Biden will be Biden - he will show you his truth.

Are you paying attention, or do you think you are paying attention?

There is no right, there is no wrong. Just the middle path, the pivot, or the fulcrum.

The center is where we find balance.

Being very right is to understand, it is less about me and mostly about you.

This is kindness - putting the interest of others above ourselves.

Every human is enrolled in the school of life.

If Albert Einstein wakes up today, he will learn to use a smartphone.

Red and Blue need balance like the power rangers.

Sam Berns taught. Make it a positive experience for everyone - God rest his sweet soul.

Factorization - finding answers by simplifying each factor.
