Hi Ali,
I hadn't been reading much lately, but my wife suggested I try 'The Old Man and the Sea' by Ernest Hemingway, so I gave it a shot. It's a short story, just over 100 pages, but it really stuck with me. The story revolves around the old man's struggle, perseverance, and his bond with a giant fish, reflecting on life's challenges.
Hemingway was so good at telling stories that he won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1954. They said he was really good at writing and had a big impact on other writers.

I cannot choose just one. If you are interested in fiction though, I love the author Peter Swanson. He writes murder mysteries of sorts.

As for me, for today the best on is "Three Laws of Robotics" by Isaac Asimov.
