I did my first job 3 days ago as milestone payment.
I attached the project in our messages he downloaded it and thanked me then he is offline untill now...
My payment is pending and i don't know what to do.
Do i press on end contract button or what should i do.

No !!! Never end a contract before getting paid !!!

For fixed price contracts, your client has 2 weeks to approve the work (milestone) after you submit it for approval.

They can approve it right away, and the money will be released to you "in review" by Upwork for a couple of days, OR they can just go offline and leave it as it is, and it this case, after 2 weeks, Upwork will automatically release the payment to your account.

Of course this assumes that the payment was already FULLY funded on Upwork when the milestone was sent to you !

But please, don't end the contract !

Antonios:

When you finish the work, you click on the "Submit Work and Request Payment" button.

Then you just wait.

You don't need to send any messages to the client.

Just wait, and if the client does nothing, then Upwork will release all of the money in escrow to you AUTOMATICALLY (14 days afte ryou clicked the Submit Work button).
