Does my account have an expiey date? Will i need to renew it?

Yes! Your account can be suspended and permanently disconnected if you
don't keep up with Upwork policies including terms and conditions but, also
your connects expires regardless of how they were added to your account,
Connects will always expire after one year from the date they were added.
If you are a premium Upwork member and pay for
a $10/month membership plan, then your connects never expire and a job will
expire if the client doesn't take any action on that job for over 30 days.

No! Please ignore what he said, it is completely wrong! Your prodile will never expire, There is no need to renew it, you don't need the plus membership either.

If you don't earn any money for a long time, your profile may get set to "private", but it only needs a mouseclick to make it public again,
