Dear Upwork Support Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I am reaching out to seek your assistance regarding a fixed-price project I am currently working on. I have put in significant effort and time into this project, but I am encountering issues with my client that I need help resolving.
When the contract began, the project details were not well-defined by the client. After 15 days of work, during which I had already built 50% of the project, the client provided complex Figma designs for the frontend. Despite this significant change, I rebuilt the entire project according to the new designs, which took a considerable amount of time. I consistently provided progress updates through screenshots and a live demo link for the client to track the progress.
Whenever the client requested changes, I promptly implemented them and provided updated demo links. The client was satisfied with the project, as evidenced by our communications.
Recently, the client asked me to push the code to his GitHub before submitting it through Upwork. I expressed my concerns about this request, explaining that Upwork’s procedure involves submitting the code through the platform to ensure both parties are protected. The client responded by threatening to close the contract and leave negative feedback.
Despite this, I continued working diligently and eventually completed the project. The client tested the project through my demo link and agreed to the submission. However, after I submitted the code via Upwork, the client canceled the approval after three days and requested a revision. Instead of asking for specific changes, the client now insists that I deploy the entire project on his server before accepting the submission on Upwork.
I am confused and concerned about this situation. Providing the entire project code before the official submission through Upwork could potentially lead to the client ending the contract without payment. I have attached screenshots of the client’s threatening messages for your reference.
I would appreciate your guidance and support in resolving this issue. Please help me understand the best course of action to ensure fair treatment and protection of my work.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Suvaranjan Pradhan

I'm confused as when I look at your profile it doesn't look like you have any contracts.
