My direct to bank payment method has been deactivated since my upwork account name does not match the name in my bank account---this is because I previously used my nickname when I created this account.
But I have already edited my details to replace my nickname with my full name here in upwork. Any chance you could have my payment method activated already?

Our account support team actively reviews verified name mismatches. Please allow up to 48 hours for the team to review the name mismatch on your account. If our team finds an issue with your payment method, we will reach out to you directly with instructions on how to correct it. You can learn more about this here.

Hello everyone
I have a problem nearly for a month now, and I really need some help in solving it.
My problem is that I can't withdraw my money because I don't have an active Paypal account and Payoneer account isn't working anymore.
and I added my bank information to use the wire transfer and I attached everything you asked for "passport, utility bill" and you accepted the attachments.
but after all of this, you didn't activate the payment method because my name isn't like my name in the bank account!
I really need to withdraw money from my account, and I need your help to do that, I contacted many of you and I didn't get any result.
PS: IF I NEED TO OPEN A NEW BANK ACCOUNT THE NAME MISMATCH PROBLEM WILL STAY THE SAME, because of my confirmed name written here Abdulrahman Masri and my ID name is Abdulrahman Almasri.

When a user adds a bank account and the name on the bank account is not an exact match with the name on your Upwork Account, it will show a mismatch which will have to be reviewed by our Specialists, typically within 1-2 business days. Minor mismatches that fall within our name guidelines are often approved by the team without a need to ID verify. You can check out this help article for more information. I checked your account and you should be all set to get paid.
Meanwhile, I noticed that you requested a name change as well. Kindly allow our specialists to review the name change request which may take about 1-2 business days as well.

I've the same issue — I've updated my profile name so it matches my bank details, but the following message still appears:

Hi Karen,
You can update your name by going to Settings and using the edit button. If your name variation is not acceptable, our agent will advise you directly about the mismatch on your documents and will suggest editing your Upwork profile name to match your legal name.

Hi Goran,
My academic, published name is my maiden name, but my bank account is in my married name. I have tried to rectify this by including both names where possible. Is it another 3 days to find out if this has worked? If it hasn't, what do you suggest I do?
